Fast-Track Health Clinic to Open in Norwalk, CT
Ally Wellness to Deliver Whole-Health Care
WASHINGTON, DC [27 August 2025] – Fast-Track Health today announced the first Fast-Track Health Clinic in the United States will open next month in Norwalk, CT, marking the global health organization’s bold step toward delivering whole-health care where it is needed most. Once open, Ally Wellness will inaugurate a network of Fast-Track Health clinics that will operate across select Fast-Track Cities, providing services where communities face persistent barriers to medical and ancillary care.
Grounded in the Fast-Track Health 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, the Fast-Track Health Clinics network will advance an integrated model of care that addresses communicable and non-communicable diseases and syndemic conditions, including HIV, diabetes, and mental health. The clinics are designed to complement existing public health and clinical infrastructures by filling service gaps and aligning with city-level commitments to the health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The need for targeted health services in Norwalk and surrounding Fairfield County is pressing. While the region is home to world-class hospitals, pockets of care deserts exist where residents face barriers to HIV prevention, chronic disease management, and mental health services. These disparities mirror national trends, with health deserts in many cities and counties reporting 20%-30% higher rates of premature mortality from preventable causes and up to 40% lower access to preventive screenings for cancer, cardiovascular disease, and HIV.
“As a Fast-Track Health Clinic, Ally Wellness and future clinics will go beyond filling prescriptions or offering episodic care,” said Dr. Gary Blick, the new Vice President/Chief Clinical Officer at Fast-Track Health, who will also serve as Medical Director of Ally Wellness. “Our focus is on providing integrated, stigma-free, culturally competent services – from HIV testing and cancer screening to hypertension management and mental health support. Here in Norwalk, we will show what a whole-health approach looks like in practice.”
Ally Wellness is the first in a phased national roll-out. Over the next five years, more Fast-Track Health Clinics will open across select Fast-Track Cities, prioritizing neighborhoods most impacted by overlapping communicable and noncommunicable diseases and overlapping syndemic conditions. This initiative reflects a commitment to health equity, resilience, and accountability, which are principles at the heart of Fast-Track Health’s mission.
